new BOP settings?
Sorry but I did not understand this 100% as I am not big on setups and usually don't touch or even know what BOP is.

Patch Notes:

PHYSICS:
- New suspension bumpstop calculation.
NOTE: we advise to check your old setups by clicking at least once on the ride height and then controlling bumpstop window in the setup!

What does that exactly mean? Do I use my old setups ride height or do I use the new? I have read in other places it doesn't load properly so you need to move it one notch forward then back?

I understand ride height but what is bumpstop? Is that the suspension tab before Aero that you are advised to never touch, mine was default on my old setups that I finely tuned, so what does that mean for me now since the new aggressive setups are different in that tab to my old one.

Thanks

BOP isn't bumpstop... BOP is a "ballast" cars carry to equalize their performance (like handicaps in golf or horse racing).

BOP = Balance Of Performance.
Every so often, cars are adjusted so that no one car is overpowered and becomes the only car everyone drives in the game. As players get better with different cars, the cars are slightly adjusted every so often. This matches a similar strategy used in real life racing as well.

BOP is Balance Of Performance and tracks are categorised into different groups e.g. Monza has different BOP to Spa.

Ok sorry I got the terminology wrong, my question still remains about he patch notes and how it affects the setup if anyone knows more.

Not sure about this update, but it has been Kunos practice in the past that your saved car setups will need to be deleted and recreated as the cars BOP has changed, therefore the setups will not apply correctly.
