Steering requires too much input
Logitech G29.

It's set to 900 in Logitech software, 180 ingame.

Are these the correct settings to achieve 1:1 steering (as it should be IRL) ?

Because I have to turn the wheel more than in AC with the same cars..

Not saying it's incorrect. Simply saying that if that works for you then it works for you. Perhaps a lower number will feel even better. Some of us like numbers closer to 450 because it requires less steering input. There really is no 'this is the right way' on this. so, whatever works for you, bud.

Well if you want 1 to 1 on screen to real steering wheel ratio then setting 900 in both with achieve that, so in that instance 900 is correct (for that wheel)

I use the F1 rim and the thrustmaster software automatically sets it to 450 degrees :)

This is not entirely correct. It depends on the wheel you have. I have a Fanatec and you can set the rotation in the wheel itself as well as in game. The idea is to match these. In my case it's 430. This produces the 1:1 you are talking about, but obviously at a much lower rotation limit.

For me, the best setup for this game is 540º with the G29(ingame and on the logitech software)

Sorry you must have missed the bit in the brackets where I specified it was correct for that wheel

i have g29 and thought that staright away...however you can get around it by changing the car setup....Mechanical Grip: Steering ratio, turn this down all the way if you have to, i turn it all the way down for all cars except the the ferrarir, i keep that at 12, feisty rear end......if that aint enough add more negative toe to the front wheels

i use for my G27, 900 in the logitech profiler and 840 in game and match correctly

For the g29 it isn't logitech profiler anymore, it's Logitech gaming software and i can't find where to set degrees of rotation, i could with my dfgt cos that was logtitech profiler, however when setting the ingame rotation to 540 it doesn't feel like any difference?

620 on both logitech software and in-game is proper 1:1 with the G29/G920

edit: Limiting it at 620 will lock your steering wheel at exactly the same moment the game does, so you avoid accidentally steering more than the in-game wheel does.

I've 900 and 900, but when i steer by 30 degrees the game steers by 90 degrees. I don't know how to synchronize them

it was said by kunos that you have to set your wheel to its full steering angle (e.g. 900 degrees) to get the correct steering angle in game because the game sets the original steering angle to each car on its own. If you feel like having too much steering input, you have to lower steering lock in the car setup screen (garage). there is no need to fiddle with hardware

T500rs, 1080 control panel 1080 ingame lock, feels quite accurate and no where do I have to do over 200 turns to get the car around the hairpin.

My best guess is that wheel driver setting and in-game setting must match.
I use 900/900 and the virtuasl steering wheel matches my hardware wheel.

My next guess is that the game will then use the real cars max wheel rotation.

With 900/900 I have no problem either at T1 at Nuerburgring or La source on Spa.

My wheel is a Thrustmaster T150.

Yup, T150 owner here as well. I’ve spent whole weekend struggling with 1st chicane on Monza. Turns out I had wheel set to 900/180 (Thrustmaster control panel/ingame). After a switch to 900/900, it’s so much easier.
