Audi R8
Hi, i have been playing a bit in MP and I barely see any audi racers, is there any reason for that? something is wrong with the car?

People will always pick the 'best' car because to them it's all about winning only. They don't care how it feels or anything else. Just win. The R8 is not as easy to drive but is tons of fun. Drive the R8 and enjoy it. Who cares what other people do.
I find the R8 harder than the Porsche. Each to there own.

Love the R8 my most driven car.

Thanks for input guys, Personally i love the car and I was simply wondering if there is something wrong with it, because it's so unpopular, good to hear people just like different cars.

It was much better before 1.8. It used to feel planted and well sorted. Now it feels like it has a twitchy rear end. Not as much of a fan as I used to be.

Yeah it used to be my main, tracks like silverstone the car just wants to rotate in the entry to the medium fast corners.

I just pick the car I currently enjoy driving the most, I'm not quick enough to get to the front of most races so happy battling it out midfield, and if the car I'm using is considered slow then at least I have that excuse

Personally I like the R8 even now. It's kind of like right in between the Porsche and the Lamborghini. Best way I can describe it. It's got pretty quick turn in and a bit too much oversteer so you need to run more rear wing. But it's a lot of fun and a challenge, unlike the new BMW.

really right now the bop seems a little off or something is off with half the cars just are not even close to bmw/mclaren pace unless your a amazing driver

i even struggle in the aston martin v8 myself now and that was the car i was racing with daily for months before the 1.8 update

it would be really nice if they would rework some of the cars a bit to match how easy/stable the bmw is to drive at a decent pace most other cars im 1-2 seconds or more off the pace i do in the bmw and the laps in the bmw are still way safer and less dramatic so that is why i use the bmw right now

i dont mind not winning but i still want to have some sort of chance to be in the race and not just feel like im gonna wreck at any wrong move or curb touch and really the bmw is the only car that i feel that way in

i wish i could change cars every race but yea that just does not work for me im either extremely slow or losing control when trying to get to a decent pace so idk could just be that i suck im sure that has some to do with it but there is a huge difference in how much control you have between the bmw and everything else lol

could be that the setups need to be so much different now im not really sure something just seems off to me on some cars with how hard they are to drive or just how slow they seem

BMW is stupid OP. I think it was an under the table deal with BMW to make their car look good. GTSport did the same thing. And still does it. Kaz was given seat time by team Walkenhorst during the development of GTSport. Hence, Kaz make their cars look amazing. Run any SP race is GT Sport and the two top spots are always BMW's.
