No force feedback after update 1.81

I have updated ACC to 1.81 and my simagic alpha U got no force feedback at all.
Does anyone have same issue ?
Simagic official support response : it could be the current firmware doesn’t support the new ACC version

Yes, same experience with Thrustmaster T500RS setup.
Wheel works fine in the old Assetto Corsa.

Same here, however, I have a TS-PC Racer. I have ZERO FFB since the newest ACC update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both ACC & my wheel base drivers. I have also performed a FW update for my wheel base, still no FBB. The only thing left to do is to rollback ACC to the prior version, which defeats the updates. I will reach out to Kunos with this issue.

If you have FFB drivers left in windows for previous wheel or some other FFB thing, it can cause FFB not to work properly after the update. I had the same problem using fanatec DD2. No FFB after update. Tried uninstalling controls.json file from the Documents\assetto corsa competizione\settings folder and bind everything again with no avail. Tried to update Firmware and drives but that didnt help either.

Then i checked windows drivers and found that there was some old FFB driver for thrustmaster. Uninstalled it, rebooted PC and everything is working fine now.

I checked for updates in the thrustmaster driver software, updated, than it worked again.

My FFB works fine on my pancake triple screens. The FFB does NOT work in VR (HP G2).

I worked out last night .
Delete the control.json and go back to ACC reset the wheel and it works but I have to do it agian every time I open ACC
Pls try go to document - find folder ACC - config - delete controller.json

I used to use thrustmaster t300 but i did look in my pc again couldn’t find the old driver for thrusmaster ,can you help to see where exactly can I find it much appreciated

after reading in discussions about the game on steam I found a new way...but without succes. I used a Logitech Wingman Formula FFB from 2002 or so (very old) before now. So the old wheel was still in my windows regestry . I've searched and found some entrys and deleted them....but without succes...


After this I deinstalled the Thrustmaster driver and installed the version I asked for in a earlyer post today.

what should I say...IT WORKS...

I repeated a new start of the game 2 times, both , with display and with VR. ATM the ffb works for me. Hopefully this guide helps you to solve it and we'll see on the track

Not for the VR FFB issue, but for regular screens, you can try deleting the controls.json file from the Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Config Folder and bind controls again. Then you can also check your wheelbase drivers etc...

Hello,
i have a found workaround with my DD1 in VR:
Start ACC in VR without wheelbase switched on.
Start a game, then turn on the wheelbase an let it boot.
Go to options -> control. Press the refresh button on the top left side
Go bak to the game
FFB is working proberly with 400Hz

now all fixed. deleted my old thurstmaster driver and it works now ..
