[Help] Mandatory pitstop in career mode

Long story short, I can't understand how mandatory pitstop in sprint race works on this game. I guess, in every sprint race you need to stop, but happens that many ai cars doesn't stop, so you are scr*wed. Please, can someone tell me how it works?

what do u mean the car doesn't stop ?? when u go to the pit stop u need to stop at the red marker and turn the car off.

are u not turning the car off maybe or using the turn on assist on? if thats the case i recomend u to turn that assist off because that assist dont let u turn the car off sometimes

Are you sure the AI cars are not pitting? i.e. are they maybe pitting on a different strategy?

Pitstops are what made me not play this game.

You can race without pit stops by changing the settings. It will depend on how long the race is though.

I like pit window style. It tends to shuffle things up mid race. I find after a while cars spread out too much and there's not as much fighting. Realistic I guess but the fights are where the fun is.

I believe you need to run at least a 30 minute race to have pit stops, and you can set them up somewhere in the race set up.

It's been a while since I played so, please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I really don't know, most of the times everyone do the pit stop as it should to be, but it happens sometimes they don't. Maybe it's just a bug or something, anyway thanks everyone for your suggestions.

there was a bug in the 1st console version with the AI and pitting i remember but i have not played on my ps4 since i moved over to pc (over a year ago) so could not say if it was fixed or not. what are you playing on console or pc?

You usually have to make one pitstop min during the race. Certain races like the endurance ones you have to come in 3x. Also a driver change is required. Usually the sim automatically will change drivers but you can change that with the pit menu.
