delayed start from pits

Once controls unlock and you hear adviser say go . . go, I experience about a 3 secound delay before car will go. This happens during race or at start of qualify lap. It is costing me to lose position (1st to 4th on championship race). Is this happening to everyone? Is there a fix? No delay on green light, just on pit green flag.

Are you using the auto-start option for the engine? It kinda sounds like it, from what you are describing. Starting the engine manually is usually faster.
Could you maybe make a short video, which displays the problem?

Thanks for response MadMan, Yes I think auto start. Was not aware you would need to restart engine in middle of race. Did not think cars need restart in real racing (ACC cars might need to though), but would explain slow start at beginning of race qualify.

Seems to work best, at least for me, with auto-start option on, but triggering engine start manually. Thanks again for the help.
