-another really cheap option is the thrustmaster tmx or t-150 these have been on sale as low as 140$ recently and is a really good entry point i use a tmx my self and have 1000 hours or so on i would say its probably very close to the g923 but smoother because its belt/gear not just gear drive anyways the g923 is not worth double at all
you can be pretty fast on anything to be honest but really the thrustmaster tx and t300 are in a different class than the g923 witch is much closer to the tmx i think the tmx still puts out slightly more nm of tourqe i think the g923 has 2.1 nm and tmx has 2.5 and tx/t-300 have 3.9 so its a pretty big difference
if you can afford to spend 600-700 you can get the whole fanatec csl dd a wheel and pedals and that would be a really good value for what your getting -this would be the stock 5 nm with no boostkit(180$ more but gives you 8 nm this could always be added in the future) and i imagine after awhile you might want a higher end pedal set you can only pre order these right now but i think will be available on nov 21st at least for me or around than
if your looking at the g923 i would consider just getting a g920 or g29 basically the same wheel without the vibrator thing and usually much cheaper (really not sure what the g923 is going for now but used to be 399) g29/g920 are around 200$ new these days and less used
still the thrustmaster tx is alot better smoother more detail more power gives you more range to dial in details
There are a lot of taxes for electronic products in my country (Turkey). And it's interesting but T300 is 2 times more expensive than G923. Thrustmaster sells through its own website, if I can get it from there, it comes at a much more affordable price, but Thrustmaster doesn't send it to Turkey, even if they sends it customs duty is too much. But when i was looking at the Amazon i saw Thrustmaster TX Racing Leather Edition without taxes. Because seller is Amazon Germany and because of that i don't need to pay extra taxes. Now G923, Thrustmaster TX and T-150 have a same price for me. Fanatec is too expensive and we don't have a Fanatec supplier in Turkey. As a result, i think Thrustmaster TX which makes the most sense. But about that in Amazon Germany, TX have a colorful buttons. (Like a Xbox Yellow, Red...) But in the videos I've watched buttons are not colorful but middle of the buttons have a Y, X, B, A and the rest is black. Is would be a problem?
i think maybe they are calling it tx but mean TMX possibly? these are 2 different wheels the tmx has 4 colored buttons on the top and 4 black buttons on the bottom and is the xbox version of the t-150---the TX is the xbox version of the t-300 and has a removable wheel that you can change out.
only the TX comes in the leather edition i think and is a very nice wheel
May be the way to go if you're just starting just like i am
G923(have Buttkicker)/G29/G920 has better materials and feels much nicer, pedal too better but forcefeedback is worse.
My Choise is G923 due to the low price in my country(240$).
When I first looked at wheels i liked the G923, but as I watched the videos, it started to look like toy to me. But in general, everyone says that Thrustmaster is better. The T-150 and TX are not the products that are my goal anymore. I'll leave the Amazon link below to you guys compare it to the G923.
