If you have any problems, go to the official support forum and if the solutions aren't already there, they're much more likely to be able to help you out: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php#assetto-corsa-competizione.60
As danosdirectos said above, don't believe all you hear. Plenty of us are enjoying this game and there's nothing magic we've done with it to make it work.
plus im using a g27. i never had this problem before the most recent update came out.
Motec: https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/motec-telemetry-and-dedicated-acc-workspace.55103/
Excluding a peripheral problem that limits acceleration, some plausible hypotheses remain:
- If you have made an accident, having damaged the car, it will lose power until you lose 15km / h on the straight.
- If the acceleration / speed problem is present in the exit from the curves against the AI, it could also be a problem of performance of your driving skills, or of too conservative ECU mappings
The hypothesis of a bug that magically limits the accelerator in a random way is very remote. As written above, only with telemetry we can understand the cause of the problem.
If you have traction control off, and it only happens in 1st or 2nd gear, you could be getting wheel spin from accelerating too hard. The real GT3 cars use traction control and ABS so it's not more realistic to completely turn them both off.
This way we could check better what could be happening.
If stopped and if you go full steering wheel lock and go full throttle you will spin you car (usually you do it if you get pit maneuvered and want to get back to the correct direction).
Btw, there is no F1 car at ACC.
