Pit stop bug at Spa?

Hey guys, I've started playing ACC with a friend this week, we're both coming from PC2. Great sim, we're loving it. We are still learning, I did a search and watched videos about pit stops, and we still don't understand. We can't request a pit stop, right? We came into the pits after a couple of laps at Spa (I created a server, 15 mins quali, 30 mins race), and we wanted to see how pit stops work. We came in at lap 2, and there was nothing in there, pit was completely empty, no crew, no box, no sign on where to stop. I've been searching the web for half hour, can't find a clue. Whats going on?

Not sure what settings you're using, but in the career mode there is a pit window. The team will tell you when it opens and when it closes. In a 30 minute race, I assume they will call you in after about 12 minutes.

It was a multiplayer session I've created using the dedicated server tool. It was just me and a friend at Spa, GT3. We did 3 or 4 laps, went into the pits and like I said it was empty, not a soul. Tried stopping at my garage, turning the car off, but nothing happened. There was no crew, no sign, no box, nothing. Completely empty.

Well they have pit window on other servers, you probably didn't set it up.

Pit window is certain amount of time when the pitlane is open for business.

If you try to make a stop to change drivers and tyres outside this window, you'll probably end up disqualified.

Ok... so the dedicated server tool has a "Pit Window" box where I can input a value. The default is 10. That means 10 mins after the start of the race the pit is open? Or is it open for 10 minutes in the middle of the race? And if so, is there an announcement from the crew chief letting us know when we can pit?

Mandatory Pit Stop Count should be at least a value of 1. If that's already the case, the Pit Window Length value might be in seconds rather than minutes.
Yup, the pit window opens around the middle of the race, and as soon as it does, you'll see a red notification and hear the crew chief say, "Pit window is opening."

Or match it to the race length and hope it produces the least buggy outcome :)

The same happened to me two times at Spa. Today was a 25min multiplayer online race without mandatory pit-stop. I wanted to repair the car, but there was no pit-crew in the pitlane.

Is there a reason for that? Is it true, that I can't come in to repair the car?

I figured it out. The pit crew it on the other side of the pit, just continue driving.

Indeed: It's not a bug! The pit stop crew in Spa is waiting after the first pitlane. Around the corner, there is a second pitlane!

Is that true? I didn’t realise you could speed up again?
