3070 + ryzen 7 5800x Stutters
Ever since I upgraded from a i7 5820k to the ryzen 7 5800x im getting stutters, cpu has a lot of spikes and makes the fps drop every 1-2 seconds, doesnt matter what settings i use, 4k, 1080, vsync on and off epic, low graphics, prioritize the cpu process, reinstalled the game, waited for a few updates, ive search all over the internet with no result. All other games run perfect 4k ultra so whats going on with this game? so frustrated

gigabyte 3070
watercooled 360mm rad ryzen 7 5800x
2x16 3000mhz cl16
750W gold
temperatures run fine, cpu under 60 degrees and gpu under 70

Thank you to anyone that tried to help

Oh dear. Everyone blames the cpu. Ergo red vs blue. It could very well be voltage issues through the soddin usb bus. i.e not just cpu issues. First thing the OP should do is run a cpu benchmark. If the benchmark is comparable to identical CPU's, it's NOT the cpu.
intel rules the world dude.

well.....your world anyway....

GeForce RTX 2060

What i tried
BIOS
CPU core ratio 46
Voltage 1.25v

Probably the CPU control of the new ryzen 5000 is not suitable for this game.
I wonder if I should keep the core from sleeping.
The reason may be different, but it's definitely improved.

What you could also try is either running the sim in a smaller lower res window (initially), open task manager, click 'DETAILS', right click the ACC.exe - set priority to HIGH and the set AFFINITY to every other core (0,2,4,etc). This should essentially balance the load across all of those cores. Alternatively, download "PROCESS LASSO" which keeps your settings permanently and you can tweak different settings (including turning off SMT and setting priorities) and you can see how the cores work. It can also put PC performance into BITSUM mode which gives an extra little boost. I use it and it definitely helped with VR use. But mainly, it smooths out the experience.

EDIT: This was on page one and also helps a lot....

"Game Shortcut

If you have the game shortcut on your desktop.

1. Right click on it and press properties and the Compatibility tab.

2. Tick override high DPI scaling Behavior. and choose Scaling performed by (Application) in drop down menu.

3. Tick Disable fullscreen optimizations.

4. And tick Run this program as an administrator.

helped me a bit... still some stutters but better than before."

Just a quickfire answer, assuming you're having power issues from USB ports, you either need to unload some ports, get a powered USB hub or (if you have a spare pcie lane) a pcie card. This could also mean you may need to update your PSU. Of course, that may not be the issue you were talking about at all though....

I tried the advice, but I couldn't solve the problem in this environment.
If you play without overclocking in the BIOS, the FPS will drop and freeze every few seconds.
Other games, asseto corsa and Dirt rally 2.0, are perfectly fine.
I'm using AMD's CPU for the first time this time, so I don't know the cause yet, but one thing I can say is that the new ryzen 5000 and this game are incompatible.
But I'm glad that I can play this game that I love.

How this should be related to AMD's 5000 series is beyond me. Braindead fanbois...

Thank you. Finally someone who notice that. 1.7.5 did not solve the problem.

and other i do was:
• Turn off C-states in BIOS*
This one is highly optional and I don’t recommend anyone doing that unless you know what you are doing! For example, for some motherboards not all C-states need to be turned off. C-states are the mechanisms that your motherboard uses to save energy. When C-states are turned off, CPU cannot be bottlenecked by the lack of power input from your motherboard. Disabling of C-states works very well with the High Performance power mode described above.

P.S ofc and keep last BIOS and Nvidia version

Just tried these... didnt work :/

Try fast sync in Nvidia panel and set frame limit in game to ~5fps above your monitor's refresh rate.

Also try using -dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES in ACC's Steam launch line.
