Error message retrieving server list

Hi everyone,

I play lots of Multiplayer games almost everyday and I only have this issue with ACC. I only recently purchased ACC. Please help.

At home menu, after I click Multiplayer the player stats load and a Quick Race option loads up pretty quickly. In the bottom right, it also gives me a green light and says I’m connected. If I click on the Quick Race option, I am able to join with no problems. However, when I click on Server List to choose a server, I get an error message and it asks me to try again. I can’t retrieve the server list. After trying repeatedly for less than 1 minute, it will show that I’m disconnected I’m the bottom right. After another couple minutes, it will reconnect again, but clicking Refresh List will still give me the same error, can’t retrieve server list. If I continue trying, it will continually get connected only to get disconnected again. The most frustrating thing is, I have have been lucky a couple times to bring up a server list with correct Pings. But I have only been able to do this maybe 5% of the time I open the game. I made no changes to Windows or Firewall or Router settings when this to happens.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? Please help me with a few things I can try. I have already added the game to Windows Defender Firewall and my Antivirus Firewall .

I don't know if this will help here, but this does help with some titles and getting server lists.

Inside of Steam, open the Settings and go to "In-Game". Look at the "Server Browser Pings / Minute" setting. If you have never adjusted it, it will be set for "Automatic (5000)". If it's using the automatic setting, try lowering it to 3000 or 1500.

@Mahjik I tried that. Didn’t change anything.

I also tried refreshing my network and checking if I was going though any proxies.

Sometimes I think I have resolved the issue, because upon entering ACC at first the server list will show. But after around 20 seconds, I hit Refresh List, and then I get the error message again. After I get that error message it seems all bets are off.

this is a current problem since months ago, already did a thread on the official kunos forum but so far the response from kunos was silence
