What level of TC and ABS do you use?
I am currently using TC at 8 and ABS at 5. I am using the Porsche 911 II GT3 R, and find TC at 8 comfortable as i can power through out of the corners. But do i gain more speed by learning to use a lower TC, because I'm beginning to feel like the TC is limiting my potential speed? Just wondering what you have your TC and ABS set on :)

Between 2 and 4. ABS between 2 and 3.

Thank you for answering!
I will try lowering the TC later. Do you have to be very carefull with the throttle or is the car pretty stable at that point.

What times you do at what tracks with TC8?

I dont mind using the default safe setup (that is usually around 50% TC and ABS) but to go faster it is needed to use as little TC and ABS as you can deal with.
TC 8 you are basically using TC for rain setup and it for sure is holding you back a lot.

Thank you! I'm mainly driving Kyalami, Suzuka and Imola. I have been testing out TC at 6 and feel like I can control it pretty well. I will continue lowering it and see what it's like. Maybe 4 is the sweet spot?

Also, set your TC cut to a couple of points above your TC. This determines how much power output is used when TC actually kicks in.

Always keep TC2 -1/0/+1 from TC1.

It depend.

Aliens can drive with TC 1 and ABS 1 ... I think I saw a video at youtube of alien doing near the best time with ABS 1 and TC OFF, but set to how you can drive better and faster.

What times you are doing at Kyalami, Suzuka and Imola?

As my brake doesn't work all that well (pedal problem) I use 1 on the abs and 0 on the tc.
It is harder to drive, but you get "more done" with the car the way you want it.
It seems like there is not much steering "and such" with the values higher.
Needs some adjustment to drive, but I take that as: "well, this could be realistic as they are hard to drive irl" and once you get the hang of it better; it IS a lot of fun.

But with this, just like in every other game; the more hours you put in it, the better you get, right?
And so my lap times are not perfect, but I'm having fun; thats the whole point for me.
So I have to tune down the AI to 95% to be able to keep up with them; sue me ;)

Thank you all. I will adjust my TC2 and lower my TC step by step and just practice. I think you get better car control as well as more speed by learning how to use a lower TC. I will see where I end up but hopefully somewhere between TC at 2 and 4. Love this game :D

@Jardar, in my opinion is the car that much different with tc and abs low- or off, that I would say; start with that.
You need a "whole new system to handle the car" when they are low.
You would be better off doing that right away and practice with that.

Again; that is MY opinion off course. You have free will ;)

Oh, good advice. I will start practicing that way instead. Thanks :)

In case, try other cars too and check, each will be slightly different to very different to drive with same TC and ABS settings.

Good point. I can imagine that the rear- or mid-engined cars like the Porsche and Lamborghini can handle a lower TC than the front-engined cars like the Merceds or Lexus. I will also try other cars than the Porsche and see how it adjusts. (:

TC and ABS vary according to skill and style, also preference.
You can be fast with something around 50%, 30% . . . dont need to be 10% or OFF, but TC 8 is way too high.

Also, some cars like kerbs more, others less, some cars like early throttle more, others less, some cars like coasting (or less throttle% through turn) more, others less and how you deal with each vary according to your skills and to your driving style (that can vary style on the same car, not only from car to car, but depending on how you like to drive, other cars may fit your driving style better).

Like, if you was using TC 8 for the Porsche and you set TC that high because the car was trying to kill you at every turn, try driving a Ferrari 488 GT3 (not the EVO), the Aston or the Bentley, these are more stable and accept more use of early throttle without trying to kill you.

I just went with the Porsche from the start because I like Porsche, but I will try your suggested cars out and see what I think. Thank you :D
