Different cars have different strenghs in ACC, i usually drive the audi and have been chased a few times by bentleys, the Audi just comes out of the corner so much better, its kept me ahead more than once.
Yet again your making excuses for yourself in your own head, either put in the time to get better or quit, your constant whining was humorous to begin with but it's just getting tedious now.

Lap times come from a lot of areas.

Setup is one, they understand the game, the physics and what to change to suit the game and their own driving style, I would say less than 1% of people really know how to do this properly.

They usually have very good kit, wheels, PC's monitors, pedals, FFB settings

But most of their time is in detail, if you watch one of their freak boy laps, they will do EXACTLY the same as you, just a bit better, they won't even go flat in places you cant, it is all about freakish feel, tiny details set he car up to be good on bumps, kerbs, brake bias adjust, tc adjust, they are just a bit more sad than you.

Most people get to a level and cannot get any better, they have ALWAYS been fast, probably faster than you have ever been since the first hour playing the game,

In fact they are not really playing the same game as you, leave them to it, they don't give a toss about you and I don't give a toss about them, they are freaks pure and simple.

ACC has a fairly long learning curve to get properly fast, even the aliens will take a good chunk of time to find the last few tenths, plus all the strategy intricacies (think months, not days) and every time there is a tyre model or physics change they put literally hundreds of hours into finding the pace again.

Just because people are faster than you doesn't mean they're cheating, the vast majority of players aren't. Spending time practising is a better time investment then posting multiple threads on this forum ;)

What track and what times you was doing and they were doing.
This for comparison would be good reliable info.

People are faster not just cheating, and without info about what times you was doing and what times they were doing, and at what tracks, it is impossible to know so we can just think you are just being slower than they.

I remember James Baldwin saying in a recent video he would put 300 hours practice just for 1 race for esports. I mean it got him to where he is but that is utter madness to normal people. I don't feel so bad being 2-4 seconds off aliens when they put in that amount of hours for 1 track.

Like others have said 2 tenths a corner can mean being 3 seconds a lap slower for a quick player. You seem very paranoid and quite similar to a Mr Deap that would spout the same stuff.

Someone racing at 2:16, 2:17 at Spa, is very possible, someone racing at 2:05, 1:55 or lower at Spa, is obvious cheater.
If I see someone being better than me, well, the guy is better.
If that guy that is being better than me is being better because he is better or because he is using some cheat I really dont care.

This is a good point. I haven't raced ACC yet but in AC, the original, my son and I dragged 3 seconds off a lap simply by tuning 3rd gear ratio to take one corner perfectly.

I'm curious with OP though, what does he mean no gear ratios. Doesn't ACC have ratios (like AC) or are they off in online racing? In AC you could change individual ratios without touching top speed.

ACC dont have "gear adjustment", and setup will only provide 1s to 2s improvement at your lap times, at best, if a setup change provide more than 2s then you are driving too slow and should try another car instead of changing so much, the default setups are really good and competitive at ACC and aliens can drive at around 1% off the best time with default aggressive.
