G29 resets on entering car, no input
Very frustrating, G29 works in all other games (including AC). Game loads, go to controls, all working. Start a game, as soon as you enter the car cockpit view the G29 wheel goes through its switching on calibration and is no longer recognised by the game. Tried disabling and enabling steam input under game properties but it makes no difference. Has anyone got any ideas?

Happens to me occasionally, and iit's usually down to issues with the wheel not connecting (even though it's done its POST calibration spinny stuff). When it happens I have to exit the game and open the LG Hub to make it 'wake up' or even do a full restart. I dont think its the game I think its just slightly wonky Logitech software

Thanks bullet_sponge, I'll remove/reinstall the Logitech software and see if it helps.

same problems but with pedals, and its not a hardware problem as it works fine in other games mine is g920,starting to think the last firmware update screwed ghub up

I did have to completely uninstall GHub and then reinstall to get the wheel to work once, it's a little frustrating but it doesn't happen too frequently

i had this problem in many games.
disabling steam input in game properties and restart the pc solved it.

if this won't work, close the game, disconnect the wheel from USB, exit steam.
go to your documents folder -> assetto corsa competizione -> config -> delete the "controls" json file
then documents folder -> assetto corsa competizione -> customs -> delete the "controls" folder
restart your pc, reconnect wheel, open ACC and setup your wheel again.

anyone know if this is a firmware problem i remember it working without messing with anything in steam and there was a recent GHUB update,my issue is the break stays full on once pressed when i take my foot off its still on yet it works fine on assetto corsa and dirt5 and forza horizon 4 so i know its not the pedals that are knackered, please any help appreciated im close to ordering a thrustmaster tmx wheel and i paid 200 pound for the g920 and was working fine out the box on purchase.

Check USB power settings in Windows and disable any sleep/power saving modes, maybe it's putting your usb to sleep for some reason. Also if running the game in windowed mode try changing it to fullscreen.

ok i did a bodge fix which still doesnt convince me there isnt a problem somwhere with the drivers or GHUB,basically what i had to do was invert both pedals and set the red bar minimum limit 100% so there a darker red.yes it works now on this game atleast but some game dont have the best configuration options and concidering its worked before without touching anything in the options i feel im just minupulating a bigger problem that found a fix,so im still not happy ive got f1 and dirt 4 yet to look at.sorry about the spelling dude im typing whilst stretching out of my playseat.

If you haven't tried this, you might want to uninstall the Logitech software. Reboot, and then reinstall it. It's been reported before that sometimes an update to Windows 10 causes problems with the Logitech software.
