ACC not detecting driving wheel (Fanatec CSL Elite)
Really need help on this. My Fanatec CSL Elite racing wheel works absolutely fine with F1 2020 but on ACC it is not being detected at all. I've had one issue in the past after an update whereby I was instructed to turn off McAfee real time scanning, which worked then and the game was fine for a while. But now, having not played it for a while, I have the same issue whereby wheel is not detected at all. Tried different USB ports as that has also been an issue once but nothing is working. Like I say, it works absolutely fine on F1. Any help would be much appreciated!

1st step is ALWAYS Steam file check

Deinstall and install the Fanatec software (drivers). Sometimes it helps.

Thanks. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Fanatec software and the game itself but still no luck. Seems to be something very specific to ACC, which is a bit frustrating because it's such a good game that I want to play as much as possible. Appreciate the suggestion anyway!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have it set to the per-game instruction, with Steam input disabled, but still no luck.

Thanks. No luck on this, unfortunately. According to Steam, files are fine. Have also uninstalled the game and the Fanatec software and reinstalled everything but still nothing.

I had something like you before. After an update my wheel wasnt working anymore. I uninstalled the drivers 4 times. For me pedals worked but the wheel didnt. Even tho the rev lights where burning. I dismounted the f1 wheel and plugged it back in. Wheel worked again.

Got tesame wheel as you

I have the same problem, it occurs randomly with the elite pedals. i found if I unplug from wheel then plug back in they work again.

Thanks. Seems crazy to have to try so many techniques but am keen to try anything to get the game to work. So far, no luck with dismounting and plugging back in, but will keep trying.

Thanks. This doesn't appear to have worked for me but will keep trying.

Have you plugged it in USB3.0(blue) or USB2.0(black)? And the wheel has power before you launch the game?

Hi JP. Yep, made sure everything is turned on before launching the game. It's usually plugged into USB 2.0 (black) because this was the first USB slot I plugged it in when I got the rig, and I've had previous suggestions to keep it in the same USB slot because apparently that causes an issue sometimes, but I've also tried connecting to almost every USB port at this stage and still no luck with ACC, although, like I say, works fine on F1.
