VR Image completely washed out & too bright
Hoping someone can help. I'm trying to play in VR but the image is completely messed up, over-saturated and too bright. I have turned PP on and off and looked at settings in race and main menu but can't seem to solve it.

I have exactly the same problem... Quest 2.

In the game menu, options - video, scroll to the very bottom. Exposure gain needs to go down and image contrast up to darken/contrast the image. Set Tone mapping to Aces. I'm using rift s - Image contrast .65 and Tone mapping .25. If that doesn't help, I'm not sure....

I know the threads a bit old but i thought id give the solution i worked out last night.. seems ACC doesn't like HDR enabled in VR. go in your assetta corsa competizione folder . find the config folder. edit the menusettings.json file in notepad .. find "useHDROutput" and set it to false ("useHDROutput": false,)

@nomnom - thank you so much, this has worked a treat and has completely changed how I feel about racing in VR with ACC, I was all for giving it a miss as the colour glare was horrible. Brilliant fix, thanks again!!

Config file is located on your system drive in "Users" folder.

I found that disabllng HDR in Windows settings is greately improving desktop colors in VR mode. It might be also a reason for Asetto extreme colors - not tested yet.

I found this online/google and had to hunt down this thread to give you an award. This should be marked as solved.

Also,

I don't know how but this guy has very few views. His Windows Mixed Reality fixes are literal game changers. Anyway, this is list of recommendations for ACC VR:

OpenXR companion toolkit have been discontinued. I was not able to make it work on ACC for VR. on the OpenXR companion toolkit ACC does not even show or pop-up when I had the game opened
