I wish ACC was an overall GT sim, which featured all GT content like different GT3 series, GT4, GTE, ... As good as the SRO content is, it's quite limited.

Not having every single last GT3 car in existence =/= limited. Also GTE offers nothing that GT3 doesn't, just pick a GT3 car and turn off ABS, there you go.
There is no point even trying to appease people like you, since no matter what cars or how many cars a game has, you will always just complain about this car or that car not being there.
I drive almost all cars and there should be enough for everyone to find a favorite, but more (if the quality is kept high) is always better, wouldn't you agree? Some people just like specific cars, even if there are a lot in the game already. I prefer Porsche and if this game wouldn't feature any Porsche, it would be a huge let down for me.
GTE offers the 911 RSR, M8, C8.R, ... That isn't something that GT3 offers.
This is just a dumb statement and you certainly know that yourself. What's wrong with people liking a game and want to pay for more content? Sure, it's probably not going to happen since this is a game about the SRO series, but one can still dream.
C7 Corvette is one of my personal favorites gt racing cars ever tho, love the handling in that car; like you said before, one can dream, however it is highly unlikely we'll ever see either the C8, let alone the C7, a generation older car.
