Thanks did an hour practice on Kyalami and got up to speed, won my second race, then went to Silverstone and got up to speed, found it's very similar drive style.
Crossing off two tracks in one session.
The thread isn't about basic philosophies that sim racers learn in week one, it's about the best choices to practice based on the current multiplayer landscape, there are 30 other tracks I have raced in other games I wouldn't expect most people here to know. Wouldn't make sense to practice the least played tracks first.....
I did a few 43:500s both qualifying and full fuel second lap of the race,. saw consistent 44s, the reference lap I am using is 40:500 so I feel ok, I am sure I can get a 42 flat after a few dozen more laps and fixing a few corners technique.
Is this a good reference?

That's great. It took me more time to get under 1:43 than to you :D. By the way, Zandvoort is quite popular too.
Cheers managed a 42:9 after tinkering with the ride height a bit, quite happy with that. Going to checkout Zandvoort next.
