ACC crashes on Startup

hey guys, maybe someone is experiencing the same issue.
When it start ACC its runs about 5sek in a black screen and then it crashes.

tried to reinstall it, restart pc and search for broken files. Nothing helped there.

hello, try to delete the game files after saving your setups, customs car, ... I had the same problem a few days ago and this solution seems to work for me

If on an nvidia gfx: be sure your drivers are up to date, but anyway: go to nvidia control panel and disable image sharpening.

Thanks for your answers.

I disabled all overclocking and the image sharpening. Deleted all files of the game in the documents folder and reinstalled the game.

My driver version is 446.14.

Nothing helped :-(

Right click the title of the game, select properties, local files, verify file integrity.

I did. Everything ok but the game didn't start either.

Additional to the top error message i got this:

Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 92]
SECURE CRT: Invalid parameter detected.
Expression: Unknown Function: Unknown. File: Unknown Line: 0

Let me know if you get a solution, I get a black screen crashes when I launch the game and none of the things above worked so far.

I've also got this problem, and nothing i've tried has worked. Looked all over the net for answers.

Things I have tried:
>Uninstall / reinstall
>Verify game files
>Turn off image sharpening on Nvidia Control Panel
>Deleting files and verifying game files
>Run as admin
>Run steam as admin
>Rolling back driver update
>Done scan on Command Prompt
>Disabled full-screen optimisation on both ACC properties and AC2-win64-shipping properties

At this point i'm running out of things to try. Any help would be much appreciated :)

I have this problem time to time (in acc and other games), in my case it's my corsair keyboard being half detected as a game controller for some reason... force closing acc, disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard fixes this for me.

I am having the same problem as the original OP. I just downloaded this evening and am attempting to start the game for the first time. I tried updating my nvidia graphics drivers (now 451.48) but still having the same issues.
Would be greatful if anybody found a fix for this one...

I managed to solve my issue this morning. Turned out that Bitdefender was blocking the game from launching.
Struggled a bit getting the Fanatec Wheel to connect next but when I did get there it was well worth the pain... what a game this is...

I found a solution....

I deleted the ACC folder from the documents section in File Explorer and then had to disable the firewall on the security. Loaded the game and it worked :)

Hope this works for anyone else who has the same issue.

put GPU back to factory settings. If that doesn't work, re-install gpu drivers. Had problem a few months ago and solved it this way.

I found a solution for me. I'm using bitdefender. So I added the game to the Application Access under Safe Files. Now it starts and everything is fine.
