it locks the steering wheel with the correspondent steering lock of the car that you are at.
iRacing has, Rfactor has, R3E has.

what wheel do you have? can you not set the wheel lock manually in the software for your wheel?
G29 here and i can adjust the steering lock up to 900 degrees

I think acc doesnt need that, just put your steering wheel st max rotation in your wheel software and take that number and put it in controls in acc and you will have 1:1 rotation for each car perfectly :)

They do have a soft lock, just slightly different. The ingame steering wheel stops turning past the correct amount, but your wheel will keep turning even though it wont do anything past that angle.

I know but sometimes the ffb just keeps going till the end of 1080º and sometimes when you need to turn the wheel all the other way around and fast its hard

just save multiple controls configs with the various steering locks and load them up every time you change car.

ACC have softlock per car as far as I know
goblueteam Feb 8, 2022 @ 9:24am
that is strange for me i just set 900 in my thrustmaster control panel and 900 in game and it adjusts it for me per car. you also have the option of saving your settings in the controls menu and loading it up if you want different settings on each car.
i have a thrustmaster tmx for me i never really have to turn the wheel that much over 1/4 rotation if its not sensitive enough i adjust the steer ratio in the car setup lower is more sensitive and higher is less sensitive.

I've yet to have softlock (or lack there of) prevent me from sim racing...

I was about to seek how to enable this function but I see kunos are lazy in ACC too similar as to AC where moders did huge part for this dev team :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Good that I am on free weekend instead of buying this :lunar2019grinningpig:
