As a real simulator, you must check your tires temperature. I did a free training with the GTR on Monza (that are a car and a track that I really know from the original Assetto) and could drive strong since the beginning. What happened is that using the same aproach on every lap (I really know the driveline and all points on this track and am aquainted with the car) my times after the seventh or eighth lap were about almost 6 seconds faster that lap 2 and 3. And they keep improving lap after lap, until about 15 laps (all "factory" settings) when it started to degrade.
The thing is... Kunos can add an option to heat your tires before you leave the pit (tire blanket) to help people train spending less time.
I took this caracteristic as more realistic than the original AC (that still drive better overall... but ACC is improving very fast), where my tires could go optimum before the first lap's end. But, them, I don't really know all those cars tires specs, because both games can be equally realistic at the same time. Even the GT3 cars in the original AC could use different compound, because they were modeled over older category rules... I really don't know about it. But ACC tires need some more effort to heat.
I have refunded cause i play rf2, AMS and iRacing, and ACC is not enough serious about FFB/physics to challenge the top 3 sims (iRacing, AMS, rFactor2) and it's not enough arcade to be very funny.
To resume it's a fail for us, don't stay, pass this game like me. Next buy : Reiza rF2 bundle, it's the real sim.
You missed the point it's not if a gardener would say that or not, It's that by arguments from authority he could say that and it would be okay to say it just because he has knowledge of his job, I guess if you didn't understand, another gardener could go up to him and say the complete opposite and he would be also right.
An argument from authority (argumentum ab auctoritate), also called an appeal to authority, or argumentum ad verecundiam, is a form of defeasible[1] argument in which a claimed authority's support is used as evidence for an argument's conclusion. It is well known as a fallacy, though some consider that it is used in a cogent form when all sides of a discussion agree on the reliability of the authority in the given context.[2][3]. Other authors consider it a fallacy to cite an authority on the discussed topic as the primary means of supporting an argument.[4]
or maybe just maybe it's because it's pretty bad compared to its pairs (at least for now), all the sims have their strong and downside, and when you look at ACCs playerbase number it's worrying
But it is probably you as you replied to yourself in the tittle of the topic.
Personally i am in love with the game. Since day 1 it was released i am enjoying it. Yes FFB was different but for me better than other games. And as for the driving i never expected the game to drive as others because that would be crazy to think. I adapted to the game. I trust the developers and i had sh*t ton of fun in the game already. And cant wait for it to get released.. because there is sh*t ton of more fun to be found in it. :)
It must be pretty bad when experts from the real GT3 series help flesh out the simulation. Because clowns like you obviously know better. Or the idiots from iRacing that dont get the tire model right for years now. Because its being worked on by a single guy who is so full of himself that he believes he is the best in the world to do the job. iRacing GT3 has nothing to do with reality. Go drive your 488 there then. If you believe iRacing is "better" because its far from reality, then good for you, go pay more for an arcade racer with a monthly sub.
You seem to know better than actual race drivers anyway. The only thing I am worried about is pointless trolls like you. You seem to have no purpose in your life so you go to online forums trolling. Who knew...
Problem is - everyone who has a clue what they are talking about know immediatly you are a morron when you claim iRacing is "so much better". There is a reason why they have to use fake-testimony / or payed-for testimony from second class racedrivers on their website to lure people in.
Maybe you tell us your irating, so we know if we are talking to a trash-noob who drives lots of GT3, tumbling around between 1000-1500 with the absolute beginners.
Btw. Regarding your OP. If you talk about braking in a turn to "readjust" your raceline it already shows that you are a really bad driver. Also the fact that its not possible like this makes it actually realistic. And it tells us that you have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue about racedriving. But you come here to claim the game is ♥♥♥♥. Its not the game - its you.
Uh oh, i'm sorry i did mean to
Yeah we're pretty f*cking lame not gonna lie top kek
