Saftey rating and all the jazz that goes with it is unlocked, i still dont see these active servers you speak of? I see password protected server, i see a list of empty servers... What i dont see is other humans to race against unless i go troll the internet and join groups and discord servers to get passwords etc...
Dont get me wrong, it seems quite awesome when you compare it to other sims... So, where is everyone?
For now, im with proton on this one... There is definitely tumbleweed in the ACC online MP section.
At the moment we still have 6 places open, although it's already the second race of a short 3 race season, it is the test event season after all.
The next race in that season will be in two weeks.
But given the ammount of players in it, I'm it will be a much bigger part of the community in the near future.
If you don't have a problem racing with a german league that is not a problem, the languages are german and english.

The cut-off time for applying for that race is 6 PM GMT+1, and the pre-race briefing is 7:15pm GMT+1 Sharp!
Don't be late or you can't race, that rule only came on after we had people continously being late.
Edit: Also read the Rules they are rather important.
Drivers driving the exotics, aka like the 720 GT3, the Lexus, the Bentley or the Jaguar are always especially welcome.

If you are in the states and you look for MP sessions in the evening, there are a few. A couple only have 1 player in them. The others are SA too high. Others you are sure are a crashfest because the SA is off or too low. Others you can't join because a race is in session. There's no way to tell which lobbies have a race in progress until you join it. PCars 2 has the same broken setup. Kunos I'm sure would tell you PCars is crap and yet they set up their lobbies the same way. So, to narrow it down, there are maybe 2 or 3 servers with one or two guys in them. That's what I would call dead. I guess you can call it something else.
@OP
A good way to get safety rating both in ACC and in Pcars 2 is to race with friends to gain it.
In Pcars 2 add some AI to that race and if you drive carefully you will gain Safety rating to a point where you can join most servers in a rather short time.
Mind you an accident prone race will cost you a lot of safety rating and in ACC bumping can cost you half an hours worth of safety rating.
Gain is usually much slower, than in Pcars 2, but you can also gain Safety rating in offline races, unlike Pcars 2.
I gained most of my little bit of safety rating both by racing in a league and training on their server.
Other than that, ask on Forums like at Racedepartment, if there are people willing to race you at that time.
@ProtonV5 erm what are these little indicator panels in the ACC serverbrowser called "FP" (Free Practice) "Q"(Qualifiying) "R" (Race) and "L" (Lobby) "P" (Practice), "Q" (same as ACC) and "R" (dito) in the PCars 2 Serverbrowser, then?
In PCars those are to indicate the status of the current session. But if you knew something about it, you'd know that they don't actually work. If it says Q, meaning Qualify, you join, you find yourself in the practice, or in the race instead. It's been that way since release and remains unfixed to this day.
In ACC it only means how long those sessions are, but it gives no indication of the current session or status of that session.
