UE4-AC2 Crash

Hi Every-body,

Since the first release I often have the UE4-AC2 Fatal error.

That can occure during a Race or on the end, or during the loading of a race. I think it's online, do not remember if it's occure offline.

When the crash happen crash my fanatec CSW V2 crash too. Do not have this crash in other sims.

Do you have info about that. Kunos is aware about this crash ?

Same issue but its when I try and accept the terms of service at the main menu cant get past it

It almost sounds like your game window is out of focus.

Try removing the two following folders:

C:\Users\ *username* \Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione
C:\Users\ *username* \AppData\Local\AC2

Now verify your game files and restart your game.

If that doesn't help, try unplugging your wheel when you first launch your game.

Obviously this is a common fault. KUNOS Please rectify. Have clocked 62 hours, then suddenly UE4-AC2. Annoying.

I've tried completely uninstalling AC2 using an external uninstaller program, and completely removing AC2 in AppData. Reinstalling, it seems to work. I made a copy of the fresh AC2 folder in AppData just in case of further problems.

OP, what is the actual error message?

Message was : " Fatal error, UE4-AC2 Crashed"

I currently wait the next update and if it not solve the problem I will try a fresh install like col1-f1.

Are you playing on a laptop?

There have been errors like these since the May 2018 Windows Creator's Update and mostly on laptops with both an integrated and dedicated GPU and most solutions point to reinstalling the integrated GPU.

No I have a full tower with 1080ti like GPU. I have this problem since the 0.1 if i remember.

Be patiend till the 0.6 update in couple of days...and then if you have crashes still then report them. They did total re-write of the multiplayer so any crashes that were happening are irrelevant now.

I have the still the problem, offline, with the latest 0.6 release.

With the new update I make a 20min Race with no problem and when I go back to the menu in driver stats, BIM, Crash ... . I will test again.
