Look in your antivirus program if access to C: \ Documents \ Assetto Corsa Competizione has been blocked, if so, release it.
1. Check if you have Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione folder. If you don't have that folder after running the game, then either step 2 or 3 will fix your problem.
2. Make sure you have full access to your Documents folder. If you don't know how to do that, here is a quick and easy fix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=90&v=ENHLLcoTQC0
This might just fix your problem, if it didn't read on...
3. In my case Windows Defender was the issue. It denied access from applications to write their stuff in my Documents folder. First i added ACC.exe so it can access the folder. That didn't help so i had to turn the whole Folder Protection off. That fixed this issue for good. Now i have the Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione folder, and now it saves everything.
Here is the steps to turn off Folder Protection:
Open Windows Defender Security Center.
Select Virus & threat protection, and then choose Virus & threat protection settings.
Under Controlled folder access, turn it off.
If you have Windows Defender disabled and you use a third party antivirus look for something similar and turn it off.
at `~\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa Competizione\AC2\Binaries\Win64` controlled folder access.
