H-shifter setting?
Hello. I just wanted to know if i can set H-shifter even for sequential transmission. In previous game this setting wasn't and i was preffer cars with manual transmission. I expect this GT3 series have usually sequential transmission and i don't be able use my H-shifter. Can someone confirm this fact for me? If i can't use H-shifter i'd rather stay with origin game.

I've got the TH8 shifter and as for now, I don't see an option for using a H pattern. In the options you can only choose between manual or automatic shifting. I use sequential (of course) and it works great.

most sim games to my knowledge if the car doesnt use a dog box/h shifter then it cant be used in game .. the lambo uses paddles soooo...youll be using paddles in the wheel.

I have the same problem!!
This game is not smart!!
The paddles turns with the wheel, and that is not confortable

you can indeed chose 2 positions in your H-shifter to use as gear up/gear down, for example 4th to upshift and 3rd to downsift. You CANNOT set each position in your H-shifter to a specifig gear as it makes no sense for the cars used in game.

Cars in ACC dont have H-shifter and you can not skip gears because of the cars downshift protection system (unless you are already slow enough to do so what mean you would not get enough weight transfer meaning you would not get grip enough for the turn anyway).
As mentioned:

Use the H shifter as up and down with 2 gears (like a rally car uses).

It is a simulator, the real cars have flappy paddles with auto blip. Why would the option to have h-pattern exist ?

gt3 cars use paddles, why would it support H pattern? You can use a sequential shifter instead of paddles, i have a nice clunky one i use with some of the lower power cars.

Modern racing cars are only sequential (and often with automatic clutch) so you can use the paddles on the wheel or a separate shifter it you can set it as sequential (but not realistic as GT3/GT4 all have paddles and no shifter).
So no H pattern and no heel and toe in ACC ... See older cars in AC or rFactor2 for that
