HUD positions on Widescreen and Multiview
Greetings,
I use 3pcs 24" monitors, with a total resolution of 5996 x 1080 (including invisible but rendered display frames between the screens)
The game works.
The screenshot shows the HUD positions on the left and right side of this extreme wide screen and might help to understand why I would like to customize the HUD positions.

If you want to see, you have to move your head, and thats fatal... crash ...
An option to customize the HUD positions would be perfect.
for better understand look at the Screenshot

Look at F1 2017, they make it good.

Äh... Hi...
Am i the loonly user of Widescreen?

Nope, but ACC doesn't support proper triple screen setups, thats why the hud is on the outside edges. Using the GPU vendor's widescreen mode (NV Surround or Infinity) just stretches the image on the outside screens and it looks terrible overall, especially when compared to all the titles that do support triples properly.

Hud positioning is defo needed, but I can't stand to look at this game on triples atm, hud is the least of its problems, imo.

no, not terrible, there are more details - the screen is bigger , please look at the screenshots

See my two comparison screenshots (imgur link). I personally think it is terrible. There is no angle adjustment and it just stretches everything on the outer screens.

Also, your FOV is extremely high for 24" but I guess its your preference, looks like you are sat in the boot.

AC, PC2, ETS2, ATS all do it right. ACC just doesn't support it properly, yet (if ever)

Yes FOV is like real, i can move my head to look in the curves,
So it´s not a Game!, its Simulation , you sit in it!, anyway in a Plane, spaceship or car or enywhelse...
With FFB it is for me better than VR.

Sorry, about my bad english

I use triples myself (and have an Oculus VR headset).
Here's my setup, not complete (still got building work going on in the room)

I take it you have your screens at a high angle, greater than 50 degrees then? I run mine at 40 degrees angle at the moment (image above is at about 30)

I'm just saying that real triple screen support allows you to input various values so it can actually render the other two monitors correctly, with angle compensation and without stretching the images, but ACC does NOT have this yet and might / might not have it in future either.

I know hud is the theme, but was actually referring to nvidia surround 'best practices' for developers not being followed. Specifically NV (can't speak for AMD), since they even mention things like hud placements when using surround. But it doesn't just need that, it does need proper triple support and hud positioning, the latter I am sure will be added eventually, but proper triple support.. who knows.

P.S My setup is an Rseat S1 with fanatec gear (not installed shifter bracket yet)

also having a widescreen, pc2 is much better in graphical options and there I use trackir a much better option than vr where you are fully isolated from surroundings. But I can understand people like that. It is EA but the mirror is also horrible...

find file: hud.json and change safezone left and safezone right from 20 to 2000 and the hud will be in the middle screen now
