Will there be a spotter like in iRacing?

On the gameplays there's someone talking to you but only few times like when the race ends, that the race is long etc. Will we have option to have a spotter or atleast option to ask him about track condition, fuel level etc. like in F1 games?

Do you need a spotter in road racing? Maybe engineer on the radio calling for pits or for other car status warnings. I also understand if you got used to iRacing spotter that calls car positions even on road races. It's normal in oval racing, but never seen it as a norm in road racing... Oh yeah, only in iRacing.

It adds a bit to imersion imo, although it's probably not very realistic in some ways. And helps me getting over my loneliness during long races. ;)

So atleast any information about a wreck infront, bad weather conditions/track conditions, if there's safety car or even virtual safety car then also information about it, all that stuff

Yes of course... race information is critical. I can see them doing that. What I mean, and what a "spotter" means, is a guy constantly on the radio saying, "car on your left", "keep low", "three wide", etc. Personally, I hate a noisy guy like that. Just like Valtteri Bottas, I like minimal talking.

But I don't wanna hi jack this thread just to keep saying NO. Maybe they can include something like that and just give us the option or slider to adjust how talkative we want them to be. Best of both worlds I say.

GTR2 was like that, you could press a button and request information from the spotter and I think there were settings for often he talks automatically as well. It's been a few years, don't remember...

This nice lill tool i was talking about is highly customizable. You can preset what you wanna hear. He's even swearing if you want him to. :) Anyway, don't wanna promote anything here.

Yes there will be a spotter, i was at misano blancplain race and there you could test the game ,there were also couple of devs, i spoke with one and among other things i asked him about the spotter and he said that yes there is going to be a spotter, he didn t specify if only visual or also audio

For it to work, ACC needs to have open API for this

In NASCAR they need a spotter since visibility is very poor out of the car. Also they go around an oval so spotter can actually see the cars throughout the whole lap, which is not possible in this kind of racing. So i don't think they will add it nor there is need for one. Crew Chief will propably be updated for that purpose.

There is a need if your playing on a single as you have no peripheral vision when using correct POV. So it's a welcome aid in that respect, of course if we can use Helicorsa then the need for a spotter, also I hope RHM will be compatible.

^ Exactly, I'm trying to get third monitor so maybe it will be easier but for now I have only two monitors (can only play on one) so it's hard to see what's next to you
