Fanatec CSR help?
Hi all,

I have a fanatec CSR wheel, struggling to get the right setup with AC Competizione. I have no wheel weight feedback when steering (which i had previously in AC), what settings do i need to fiddle with, either in game or on the wheel to get the feedback?

Thanks,
Nij

Try to increase Gain in the Force Feedback setting. I have it about 150 but it could even be more.

also have a csr wheel and struggling to get the right feeling. both cars feel sluggish and not as lively as they should be. increasing gain didnt fix the problem.I have brough the dynamic damping in game to 0 so it has little bit improved but not much. OP, did you manage to get the right Wheel and In GAME settings so you could share?

Ok this is what I use as IN Game with some positive results now
Gain 150%
Force 15%
Dynamic damping 0%
RoadFx 50%

wheel
Sen 270
FF 80
sho 100
Drift 2
Spring 0
Damp 0

hope this helps with FF

and I also found out that you need to adjust TC and ABS leevls in the car setting itself before starting a race.I was setting TC OFF from the general menu but it was still at 6 in the car itself since it seems overriding the general menu one

I have a CSR too and going with 150% for gain it's clearly not good, unless you want to burn your wheel ... Just take a look at the FFB meter right under throttle and brake meter in the hud when driving, with 150% gain, you should be in the red zone in all corner, meaning the game actually don't give you any feedback.

I'm still struggling with the Min Force setting, i can't really understand what it does to my FFB. Apparently the Dyn Damping help you to save the car during a slide, we can feel more easily the car slide with it, but i haven't tested it yet correctly, Gamermuscle has done a video talking about it.

RoadFX it's apparently, from what i feel, same setting than in AC, fake ffb, so not really helpfull, or put it at 20% max i think

On your wheel. Sen should be at 540, normally, most of the GT cars run with this rotation, but i don't know for you, wheel of the car and my wheel doesnt match at all. When my wheel is at 90°, the wheel of the car is already at 100 - 110°. Even if i set 540 in the driver, wheel and game.

FF at 100 NEVER less. Your wheel should always give you the max of the FFB, only use game to adjust it.
Sho : Personal preference. I personnly set it to 0, but sometime 100
Dri : really helpfull to catch the car during slide, I set it very High on mine 4
Spr and Dpr : OFF, these settings only work when wheel is pluged on a Console

And my Gain in game it's something like 80-90%, still trying to find the sweet spot

Merci Shivas

Its early days so know that I had set the gain quite high but having the wheel FF at 100 and playing with IN GAME Gain setting wasn't giving me good results.will try again tonight
thanks again

went back to FF 100 in wheel and reduce Gain IN GAME to around 80-90% as you suggested but still not satisfied.Ok my CSR is rather old so motor and/or belt must be on its knees but I am getting this notchy effect that I wouldn't get as much say in AC, AMS or PC1/2
