for whoever's still using "-nohmd" in Launch Options
just delete "-nohmd" parameter, just leave an empty field.
For whatever reason, it greatly increases CPU usage.
I use i5 4670k (stock) and I had 100% CPU usage in career mode. Now it's down to ~75%.

You would know that if you'd ever added that line to your game launch options.

right-click on the game in steam library, go Properties/Set Launch Options. Empty that field if it's anything there (It probably isn't, since you asked this question :steamhappy: )

The "-nohmd" parameter was necessary during early access, otherwise VR mode would have started whether you wanted or not. This is the reason some players might have this "-nohmd" option in the launcher.

mine is not in the launch bar it just pops up and I don't have a VR headset
