You can "Alt Tab" or hit the "Windows Key" and open the Applications tab in Steam VR settings while any game is running to adjust SS. You will have to properly exit the game and restart for the new SS rate to be applied.

Or just use in the menu in game.. it's called VR Pixel Density in the graphics options.

Thats just base resolution, you can and should super sample if able. SS makes a much noticeable improvement.

But VR is still poorly optimized currently.

supersampling makes the game render at a higher resolution.
vr pixel density makes the game render at a higher resolution...
whats the difference

Supersampling in SteamVR has its own filtering algorithm.

So does Pixel Density in the game.

Not that I know if they're very different, but it's certainly worth an effort to test them and see which one is better.

Pixel density is the primary resolution for VR. And it can only go so high. SS renders that resolution at a higher setting and can be increased far beyond that.

You have to have pixel density set and super sample to optimally run the game. Even pixel density at 200 and SS at 20% is blurry, at least in a Vive Pro.
