GPU has HDMI & DP
HDMI direct comes through at 50Hz
But honestly it should be easy to convert a DVI-I to DVI-D bc they're the same except it also outputs an analog signal. So in theory, an adapter for DVI-I to DVI-D should work fine because all it's doing is ignoring the analog signal.
Actually converting DataPort to DVI
Didn't really think it would be a problem.
I'm currently using one of these http://www.dynamix.co.nz/C-DPAC-DVI
But are concidering geting one of these https://www.startech.com/AV/display-and-video-adapters/Displayport-Adapters/Active-DisplayPort-Dual-Link-DVI-Video-Adapter-Converter~DP2DVID2
Cheaper than a new monitor if it works.
Using the current adaptor, refresh rates up to 144Hz are shown in advanced display settings.
Anything higher than 60Hz I get the warning on the monitor.
Higher than 100Hz I get occational flashes in the graphics.
It will run ok at 100 but the damn warning keeps poping up.
If I could get rid of that, it would be good.
Have to push the menue buttom on the monitor to clear it.
Correction to post #3
HDMI will run at 60Hz.
Also tried HDMI to DVI-D & that is the same.
The monitor will only support 144Hz through DVI-D
Its in the specs.
