Can't go into options while racing.
It works for me i'm able to open control via option menu even in race. perharps not possible in multiplayer i don't know i did not try multiplayer, i tthink you can just wait for a fix
Oh I'm sorry. I never tried it in the release version. You weren't able to in the early access version, just like AC. Good to know, thanks. Hehe.
PS. I meant 'controls' earlier. Don't know why I said 'options'. Nice that it works now anyway.
The car won't start. In a race sim.
Well done, Kunos. Well done.
* slow clap *
It's not really that the car won't start. It just changes ignition and starter settings from automatic to manual in Q2. That's what people are having problems with. You can just start it manually instead. Just tricky for some to find out since they know they set it to auto.
That isn't everyones case, I've always used manual start and it happened. Pedals wouldn't even register. Restarting session a few times till it worked is what got me through it.
Ah okay. Must have missed those comments.
No worries. So yeah, I've got manual start+ignition. Activate ignition in Q2, and I can hear the electronics boot up in the car. Press and hold starter. Engine cranks but doesn't fire. Also tried auto start. Same problem.
9 months in Early Access. Unreal...
Oh yeah. That happened to me too that part. I can see the throttle bar move but engine won't fire as you say. I noticed when I restarted and did it quicker it worked, at least for me. It was like I took too long to get the engine going. Could try doing it instantly when you get there. It's not like you need to be super fast. Just don't let it hang for long. Worth a shot at least.
I think I'll uninstall this beta garbage and try again when it's been patched half a dozen times. Or I could take $25, throw it out the window, and play RaceRoom.
