Missing Executable???

Hello,
I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but I tried to start ACC V1.0.7 this afternoon to try and finish some settings I was working on this morning. But it comes up that ACC has a missing "Executable".

1. Verify Files = Missing a Executable File which will now download

2. the download just keeps going in a loop, doesn't say how big file is just shows disk usage then stops at 100% then starts again, I left this for an Hour without anything downloading.

3. Power Off & Back on.

4. Start Steam, ACC downloads a file without issue.

5. Start ACC.... Nothing

6. Verify File = go back to step 1.

7. Give up and shut down restart after uninstalling ACC

8. Install ACC

9. Restart then try ACC again, see step 5.

10. HELP! I have no idea, PC1 & 2 + F1 2018/19 and Wicher 3 all work and are on same SSD.

I've turned off AVG and ACC now Works, unsure why but using different Anti-Virus now.

The only solution is to get the fanboys to stop praising steam despite it being the worst game store/launcher out there. Even origin and epic give you less problems and allow you more control over your games.

I had the same problem (F1 2018 and F1 2019), solved by checking in the basket or quarantine of the antivirus (avast), try telling the antivirus to put it back in your game folder and add an exception for that file or for the whole steam folder. If it does not put it back in its original folder uninstall the game and reinstall it, but remember to add the exception in your antivirus.

Never have i had games break on either platform. Both allow me to choose where the game is stored. Both allow me to put the game on my start screen. Both download using all of my internets bandwidth. Steam fails here on all accounts. Etc etc.

Create ecception on your antivirus program for file acc.exe. RESUME THE FILE FROM YOUR AVIRUS PROGRAM.

the issue with the icon was on kunos side that why they launched a 80mb patch to solve it together with other very minor stuff for trackir

This just happened to me with ACC. More than an hour of googling and this is what fixed it.

This whole thread was a waste of time,it is caused by an over active anti-virus that the end users were unaware of.Even went as far as blaming steam.LOL
