Championship Race Problem?

I decided to try another Championship after the update. It's never worked correct for me before this update. It wouldn't go the next races using Custom or 2018 Season.

Today it started ok with 2018 Season. During the first race after 22 minutes of a 30 minute Sprint Race it drops me back into the pits. Now I've done my required Pitstop already. I thought maybe I ran out of gas.

So I start the same race over. Do everything again plus add some gas. At the same time again, about 22 minutes, it puts me back in the pits again. This time it says I was speeding in the pits. I don't think so, but ok.

I start over again and get to 22 minutes in about and it puts me back in the pits again. Now the race keeps going on everytime, just with out me. Funny thing is I can rev up my engine, but I'm on the jacks. This time it doesn't say anything happened nor did it the first time.

Does any one know what I'm doing wrong? It's a Sprint Race if that matters.

You're playing the championship mode in this game. That's what you're doing wrong. Lol.
I'm still waiting for them to fix it because a working championship, which I thought was the point of the game would be epic.

I see, in the past I have gotten some strange happenings when playing Championship mode. I figured they might have fixed it by now, guess not.

im having the same problem ,just seems every time i play theres something wrong,if cant fix then remove game until you fix

Ok, now there's 3 of us, so I'm convinced there is a problem.

I asked this question about 2 updates back and never got a reply. So I kept trying things thinking it was me, but finally gave up.

I was just going to buy this.I sure am glad I came here first.I want to play the career,but it looks broken.I'll wait for a sale or a patch that fixes it before buying.Back to AC.

I will say though, the driving in this game is the best I've felt IMO. The graphics are as good if not better than any I've seen.

I have never had a problem with single races, but I've only raced a few. It seems the Career worked fine, again I just quit playing and went to the Championship. ^^^^^

I'm confident that they'll fix it. I'm going to start running some single races to prepare. Haven't raced on some of these tracks in a long time. /and work on set-ups.

A guy on another thread says it's because we're not changing drivers during pit stops. I tried once, but failed to get the driver to switch. Had to quit, I'm going to try again later.

It looks like it's on the page to change tires, fix the car, etc. Down towards the bottom it shows the Drive with arrows on each side to switch.

I didn't get it to work yesterday, but I had to quit as life took over. I don't know when I'll try again.

I actually stopped the car prior to entering pit lane & had a good look on the MFD (Multi-function Display)
You have to get the driver swap to show green.
Once you get the hang of it you can do it while you are at pit speed approaching the stop.
Once that is done it will change automatically.

I just redownloaded iRacing and updated, so I'll be busy there for a while.

After spending some time on iRacing. I learned they are for a fact working on AI for iRacing. I had heard they were, didn't know for sure. Now I do.
