I use this as it permits a virtual rear view mirror (necessary for low FOV) and a quick glance left and right to the side mirrors.
All the movement settings are at 0, yet ACC just feels more "jarring" with the world movement compared to all other sims. I regularly use rF2 & R3E for example, and those titles have some camera movement as you would expect, but nowhere near as distracting as ACC IMO.
Thanks all for the suggestions, though I figure there is no simple way, if any way, to have a (more) stable environment image. I was hoping I was just missing a setting or had some value too high, though I guess not, it's just the way ACC is, and I'll have to learn to live with it.
Not really a huge concern, there are bigger problems in the world than cameras in racing games. Cheers.

That because you would move your head in real life according to track details and weight transfer under braking, returning to throttle and doing turns
It will move more or less depending on car setup, vary from car to car and how strapped to the cockpit your head and neck are but if a track is not perfectly smooth (what no real life track is), any sim will deliver such thing.
I know there must be some way to have it full stable but tbh with you I dont even feel connected to the car with everything stable.
Btw ... I have it locked to horizon, the car moves around and I focus on the track, so while driving I dont even notice all the bouncing but if neither the car or the track moves I feel disconnected.
Btw, try setting it in-between lock to horizon and locked to car, you may get it much more stable.
honestly compared to some other games i dont think ACC is that bad unless your using the helmet cam that has the body roll also keep in mind when your lowering the fov really low your really changing how zoomed in things are so its obviously going to exaggerate movement i would say raise the fov till it does not bother you as much if you can
