Rear light brightness

Is there a way to increase the brightness of the tail lights on the AI cars? I've done several night races, and once the cars get about 50 yards or so in front of you, you cant see the rear lights, even when they're braking, makes it quite hard to judge distances sometimes. I'm playing in VR (rift) by the way.

Hi. I think it has to do with the graphics settings. Ex: number of cars visible (visible objects) and the setting you are using; ultra, high etc.

All my settings are a mixture of high and max, maybe there's a setting in a config file somewhere could tweak. If I could isolate which setting in the options controls it (texture details, draw distance etc), I could try turning that to max, but I have no idea which setting controls it.

This is a real problem regardless of viewing method. Hopefully it'll be addressed in the new wave of patches coming up . It's pretty essential. It sounds like the guys at Kunos are pretty fried after the...er...less than stellar retail release however, so I'm not going to get jittery about this until September ;-)
