A little guidance re. pit stops please
I am very glad pit stops are implemented but, coming from AC I have no experience with them. In a Sprint Race event in ACC I got a message that I needed to come in during the pit window and do a “full service pit stop” (or some such wording). Can someone tell me what is the minimal acceptable pit service to order in advance via the setup pit menu in order to satisfy this requirement? Many thanks.

Set up your pitstop before the race in the car setup menu.
Select at least 1 Gallon of fuel, tire change, driver change may or may not be greyed out, but a driver change is most likely required.
Enter the pits during the allotted time and make sure that you CLOSE the pit menu!
Enter your pit stall. Wait for the counter to count down and your team boss to tell you to go.

It’s just a sprint race; surely a driver change is not required…?

I believe it is required as part of the sprint race as well. If the box for driver change is greyed out, then it is required and selected automatically. After you leave the pits you will notice that the driver name has changed.
Beware of pitstops at Misano right now as there is a glitch that prevents you from starting the car. I had this happen twice tonight alone.

What is the best way to practice pit stops? I can’t seem to get it to work in practice sessions. I’m sure I’m missing something simple so please bear with me.

Sprint race format is 2 drivers in a 1 hour race with a compulsory driver and tyre change with a pit window 25 to 35 minutes into the race. There are 2 qualifying sessions with the driver that runs q1 starts race 1 and the one that runs q2 starts race 2.

Ypu can practice driving into the pits and stopping in the spot in any session but a full stop only works in race same as the MFD pit hud only works in race currently.

Many thanks, Marty. This info will prevent me from trying to practice pit stops in practice sessions and feeling frustrated when it doesn’t work.

Explains why the driver changes to a driver with no name, i just leave everything at default and do the 22 second pitstop, i completed my second race weekend at Misano last night in carrer mode and have no issues apart from over shooting the pit in my first race and spent 2 minutes trying to figure out the issue

anybody else lose the starter key binding on your wheel after a pit? works fine at race start (and thru all practice and quallies.) but somewhere in pit sequence, wheel key bindings get fouled...
