Best setting for T300 RS

Default setting in Thrustmaster control panel.

In game:
Gain 75%
Min.force 0%
Dynamic damping: 100%
Road effects: 20%
Steer lock: 900

You dont want Damping, set that to zero.

Also remember to change your settings in control panel for your wheel.

That's just snake oil from some old RF2 guide that everyone likes to parrot. You shouldn't disable any of the forces in the Thrustmaster control panel, as those are only used if the game calls for them anyway. All you're doing is denying the wheel its ability to convey the forces the devs wanted it to convey.

You do want the in-game dynamic damping option. From Aristotelis (Kunos): "the dynamic damper is not an actual damping force but a proper physics based force that can seem as a damping effect. For sure it won’t show up as a damping feed from the windows driver".

Guess when it comes to FFB eveyone has there own preferance

What wheel are you using? It works well on my T300.

I use the T300rs

[Stepy]

In Thrustmaster control panel :

Constant 100%
Periodic 100%
Spring 0%
Damper 0%
Auto-center by game

In game:
Gain 64%
Min.force 2%
Dynamic damping: 0%
Road effects: 9%
Steer lock: 1080
Brake gamma 1.10

These ^ settings brought the game alive for me. In addition, I set the TM gain to 100% and use a much shorter steering lock for preference as well, but thank you. I won my first public lobby at Laguna.
