ACC and VR Reset the view

Just trying to play this in VR with a reverb - i got that the re-centre view in car is ctrl+space
(which works) - but the main menu for options in the garage and in car is appearing right underneath me - so theres no way I can view it! - how can I get this in the centre of my screen in VR? (i use the x box controller to navigate it but this doesnt work if i cant view the menu!)

You have so reset Seat Position in steam vr. Enable vr dashboard in steamvr settings, then use the thumbstick on your motion controller to access it after starting the game. Go to settings in the dashboard bar and tap reset seating position and you’re done. Start your session ingame and center once more (ctrl space or assigned button in controller config). Should be doing fine, but you have to repeat the sequence every time you start acc again. There’s another method if you use steam vr beta, since there are dev options to use keybinding to reset seating position in steam

thanks managed to figure it out........so with the beta you can map a key to it (think i will install) - in the steamVR options which menu is it under?

You have to opt in for steamvr beta, then go to steamvr settings > developer > debug commands which brings up a list with possible commands. Scroll down and find a variable called reset seat position, it’s assigned to “Z”-key by default. The steamvr keybinding list has to be in focus while pressing z, so just switch via alt+tab to access it ingame, hit Z and there u go

thanks! will try it so bound by default to z - will read the tutorial - but what do you mean key bind list needs to be in focus?(you mean alt+tab) will bring the a menu up?

Hopefully this is fixed at some point, it's nonsense you have to to do all that to center the menu. If it doesn't load properly, it should al least be the same button or keyboard shortcut to recenter as in vehicle.

have just received vive cosmos. When in vr menu appear I can point all parts of menu with mouse. When I want to start race, i cannot get my mouse to the button. Using pc and steamVR
hope somebody have a solution
