Who is starting to think AC is still superior to ACC
As the title says, but I am truly starting to think that in most areas, even in many respects graphically AC still has ACC beat. To me although the graphics in ACC are good it has a somewhat unrealistic look to it compared to AC, No pun intended. I have an i7 7700, RTX 2080 and can have most settings on epic but to me it looks quite arcade like and certainly not a progressive evolution of the original AC I am relatively new to this but would like to hear what people also think.

I've playing acc since 0.1 without looking back to ac, clocked 320+ hours, a few days ago got back to ac and my first reaction was

Ac felt outdated even with slp and sol
Mainly in the visual and sound department

Did a few races and couldnt get to it
And i have 1200+ on ac

So for me acc is superior almost on all the aspect that both games shares

The same....almost 300 hrs in ACC and can't go back to PC2 and AC.
ACC is the new satndard....

Not sure at all what you mean by the graphics look "unrealistic". ACC looks leaps and bounds better than vanilla AC. The things shared between the two games, ie cars and tracks, are undeniably better in ACC.

ACC is an absolute mess atm. Online is a total waste of time getting punted off on every session I play. AC is 10x better than this at this time. Not wasting any more time with this until its fixed. Performance even on my RTX 2080ti is pathetic truth be told. I will come back in 6 months time to see if thing have improved. Sorry state of a game

having a bad experience from your side doesn't mean the game is bad, TBH, i encountered really a few issues, mainly CTD in ver 0.2 and 0.3 apart from that for me the game is very solid, runs great and it feels great even on my potato and nowhere near AC is better that ACC, sound is superior, physics are more complex and accurate and visually vs AC vanilla can't be compared

Same here, 316 hrs in ACC and counting since 0.1 but for me the transition was easier since I only raced GT3s in R3E, AC and RF2. AC was for everyone while ACC was targeted to a specific audience by design. That audience is me.

Reduce the saturation. Try 90% or 80% for that realistic look in ACC. The first time I played AC I had the opposite problem, an online search showed why videos others had posted look so colorful. In AC by default the saturation was too low. in ACC the default 100% can be too rich.

What do you expect to be fixed with your mp issues? How is AC any better in open servers? ACC you can use servers avoiding exactly that issue but then you need to fix yourself first to use these.

Tried the saturation down to 80%, made such a difference for my personal preference, thanks for that it really does look more realistic to me now.

I consider ACC probably the best-looking racing sim currently available. Of course, you'll need a capable PC rig to appreciate that claim. I'm on an i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX1080 (8GB) and it looks pretty amazeballs to me - and runs just fine.

I understand that many on these forums expected it to look just as good on their slightly under-powered rigs. Yeah, that's not how this works.

I have 270hrs on Assetto Corsa, my first sim, buyed 2 years ago (27 august 2017).

Since i buyed AC Competizione at day one (12 September 2018) i have played 140hrs.

Now, if i come back play to Assetto Corsa, i feel i'm playing on Game Boy: Outdated grapichs, outdated sound, outdated UI, outdated FFB, outdated game. Even whit mods like Sol feels stuffy, because of oversaturated tracks, unbalanced colors and post processing (fogs, light ecc) not very refined. Sol looks like what it is: a simple mod. ACC for me is a new standard for racing games,on which I would never go below it.

(1160 hours with AC and 250 hours with ACC)

Both are solid racing games / simulations.

AC is and was a bit easier and still very nice simulation with many different cars.

ACC is more difficult. It is all about "Competizione" and it is very REALISTIC!

I play both, ACC has only GT3 and AC a lot diffrent cars, most time in AC I play the old GPL cars on old tracks (mods), a lot fun.
I don't care about Night or Wet Races, I like racing on dry tracks and sunny days
