VR Desktop Shortcut

I know this is trivial, but I still like having launch shortcuts for VR on my desktop.

The recent pat ch notes state you can now do it, but nothing actually works.

Does anyone have a working launch command for the shortcut?

None of these work. Is there a particular command needed? Thank you.

What about in monitor mode?

I play the game 50/50 in VR and Screen.

So I was trying to make a Monitor shortcut and VR shortcut.

If you go to the game folder you'll see acc_steamvr.bat and acc_vr.bat. If you edit it you will see the proper launch settings for steamVR and for Oculus.

For oculus: acc.exe -vr hmd=OculusHMD
For SteamVR: acc.exe -vr hmd=SteamVR

I created a direct shortcut and put the oculus settings and it seems to work for me.

I appreciate your response, but the game has been fixed in the last year and works fine launching VR. This thread is a year old.

works for me (WMR)
Same format I am using for all other VR titles.

just for someone who still has this issue:

the correct line for it to start in VR is:
steam://launch/805550/VR

VR must be written in capitals (doesnt start when .../vr) and it must say launch and NOT rungameid (steam://rungameid/805550/VR results in game starting in flatscreen mode...)
