Budget Steering Wheel for ACC (PC)

HI Guys,

As we know that there is no keyboard support (at least until now), can you all please suggest a budget friendly Racing Wheel to buy for Assetto Corsa Competizione? The platform i'm using is PC. If it supports multiple platforms, it will be great. But right now i'm looking for PC supported.

G29 and G290 are great and both work really well out the box FFB is good too. straight out the box.

I would personally steer (pun intended) away from Logitech. As a former Logitech user for 8+ years, their QA has gone downhill and their software updates have caused more harm than good in the last few years. I switched to Thrustmaster and I do feel they make the best bang for the buck products right now (for steering wheels).

You can always get a separate pedal set at a later time and I don't use Thrustmaster pedals.

I advise you to buy Thrustmaster T150 (cost 170€ in my country), thats have a better linear force and drive feeling than Logitech Wheels, especially in this game, and to combine with this steering wheel the T3PA Pro pedal (150-160€) (have two different position of settings like F1 or GT position, and support a brake mod who allow to use up to 30kg of brake pressure), stocks pedal sucks and are very lights and breakable

From personal experience i don't recommend you to go below the threshold of these price ranges both for the steering wheel and for the pedals, otherwise when you adapt and you will become good with cheap peripherals, you will feel limited in their performance and you will want to buy something better..

don't waste your money on thrustmaster, they lack durability. take the driving force gt, i had it and it is a very good entry level. pedals are not the best but that's the downside of every entry level wheel. the logitech wheels (speaking of g25 - g29) are very good actually. if you want the best of the best you'd like to take the step up to fanatec wheels etc.

If have about 3000 Hours on my logitech G27 and it still works fine,
I don'\t like the break, I need to much force and it isn't adjustable (I believe)
I don't know if it is a great steer for ACC because the FFB feels not good.
Perhaps it is the game?

Are you sure you're only going to play ACC on PC?

Firstly, you can get a wheel that supports both PC and one of either Playstation or Xbox. This is most wheels including the G29 (Xbox) and G920 (Playstation) and Thrustmaster TMX (xbox) or T150 (playstation). If you have/use a console take this into consideration.

Secondly you usually find yourself playing more than 1 game and many hours doing so. It is at this point that you may regret not buying a "better" wheel and pedal set. It's always good to get a pedal set with a clutch even if it turns out you don't use it. I for one used my clutch pedal as a brake when my brake pedal wasn't working. Also it adds to the realism if you prefer manual clutch, heel and toe driving and realism driving some road cars.

Third, you may be able to drive with keyboard at some point in the future. Latest public beta 1.0.3 v2 has;

UI/HUD:
- Revamped controller options menu, allowing keyboard, direct-input and X-input customization.

T300RS hands down. Not much more than the logitech, but far smoother and quieter with finer detail.. and the upgrades you can get for it in forms of pedals and shifters over time are pretty good.

I've owned all the budget wheels across all sims, T300 if you can afford it, otherwise T150 hands down but with 3TPA pedals over a G29. Way more fidelity, in fact the move from a g29 to a T150 was a much bigger jump than a T150 to T300. Best budget beginners wheel.

Bought a new wheel just recently a T300 for 225 pounds. I had a Thrustmaster 458TX before this, but unfortunattly this broke. I did have 5 years use out of it, so cant really complain. the T300 or 458TX I can recomend.
