[Spoilers] Your Favourite characters?
Let's talk about characters that made you feel emotional in this game.

For me, Odilon is my favourite character. As someone who've been working professionally, I found Jacopo's early times as a lord relatable when he was tasked with managing important tasks with tact, diplomacy and logical decisions. In turn, Odilon's advices to Jacopo felt quite relevant to me because I've been in that situation in the past, having to work my way through difficult circumstances with hard work, trying to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship when networking with other people and so on.

When Odilon died, it was as if a father figure in my life had died. Personally, the scene where he left last parting wordings to Jacopo to stay strong was probably the most memorable climatic moment in the game.

So now it would be great to know what were your favourite characters and why

Seconding Odilon, I loved his part in the game and was honestly really sad to see him go. His relationship with Jacopo was suprisingly touching. It was great that Jacopo had someone to guide him during his first years as a lord, but also deeply saddening because I knew Odilon couldn't possibly be at his side until the very end. Odilon's bit at the backstage was really cute, almost made me want to see what the third door would look like if he could've intervened.

If the sub stories count, then I gotta go with Michel. I was deeply invested in his story and struggles in the first game, so seeing him being content with himself and happily reuinted with Giselle was all I could've asked for. Not to mention how expressive he was now.

i liked Odilon too, he revealed a good man.

But i can't close the door to Morgana and Jacopo too, they are too good written ;_;
the final scene before the credits is just.......everything. The highest peak in all Fata Morgana stories, imho

Odilon, Jacopo and Morgana in no particular order.

Both of Jacopo's stories involve his relationships falling apart as a result of misunderstood intentions and actions, so I found him quite sympathetic and also a bit relateable, even if he did make many bad decisions. I think he's probably the most complex character in the story.
Morgana is moe. I want to protect her smile.
I hope the Collected Edition's future chapter finally shows Morgana and Jacopo being able to reconcile.

i rather Morgana quits with Requiem, there's bit too much things they wanted to tell, that for me should be remain unknowledged. The best thing in a story for me is to think what could happen next, with this extra in the Collected seems like they wanted to tell every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, killing the pathos...

In this game alone, Maria and Morgana. I honestly thought Jacopo would have been the one considering the amount of focus and depth he has here but Maria kind of stole the spotlight in that effect. Odilon on the other hand also was a great character.

Ceren was an interesting addition as a foil for Morgana, of all people.

I thought Ceren was a pretty weak addition, honestly. Her acting as an opposite to Morgana with her endless optimism and contributing to Morgana's development as a person was good, but the whole schtick of her being unable to comprehend negative emotions and working with Barnier was ridiculous, and a result of the authors trying to tie together and explain every single event when there wasn't any need to. It was ok for the bandit raid to be a coincidence, and making Ceren into Barnier's mole adds the plot hole of why Barnier never recaptured Morgana, because apparently in all their meetings Ceren never once mentioned the girl with the disfigured face to him. It's also a bit ridiculous for Ceren to have never come up in the original story when she was so important to everyone, especially Morgana
Requiem was great for the most part, but I definitely think Ceren's inclusion did more harm than good to the story.

I can understand why Ceren's circumstances would break your suspension of disbelief but it didn't really break mine since we even have supernatural elements in the VN. I don't think Barnier expressed any personal investment in Morgana. She was a prop or oddity for him, or at least that's my take on how he views her. Regardless, the fact she was cohabitating with Morgana went unnoticed is a sizable hole in the plot.

Another thing I liked was that she's basically a subversion of the relentlessly optimistic side characters seen in other media.

I want to assume Barnier knew Morgana was in the brothel but no longer had any use of her as a novelty so he had just wanted to make sure she either get killed or sold as a slave in that raid. He did say he didn't believe she was a real saint or her blood had any healing properties so that probably factors into why he didn't have her chained up again for his blood banquets.

In terms of Ceren's character, I...did felt put off with her personality, it took me a while to warm up to her.
