If the sub stories count, then I gotta go with Michel. I was deeply invested in his story and struggles in the first game, so seeing him being content with himself and happily reuinted with Giselle was all I could've asked for. Not to mention how expressive he was now.
But i can't close the door to Morgana and Jacopo too, they are too good written ;_;
the final scene before the credits is just.......everything. The highest peak in all Fata Morgana stories, imho
Morgana is moe. I want to protect her smile.
I hope the Collected Edition's future chapter finally shows Morgana and Jacopo being able to reconcile.
Requiem was great for the most part, but I definitely think Ceren's inclusion did more harm than good to the story.
Another thing I liked was that she's basically a subversion of the relentlessly optimistic side characters seen in other media.
In terms of Ceren's character, I...did felt put off with her personality, it took me a while to warm up to her.
