...and I made a request on zendesk, great idea!
You are literally asking scammers to return your money.
And have they updated it? No. Why not? Because PCVR is a dying platform.
And I say that as someone who wants it to thrive, but the sales just aren't there.
If you want the Championship Edition your only options are the PSVR2 version and the Quest 2 version.
Update: Just checked their Twitter and there was 4 people asking for Championship Edition on Steam VR.
FOUR.
I guess we know why they didn't bother now.
You must be fun at parties pal.
I filled out the support form. Their recent marketing push got me wanting to play it. I saw the Jaboody Show boys upload a great video of it. So I went to install it, hell I already own it on steam. I'm super disappointed the game has been abandoned on the platform that made VR gaming even possible.
Umm, don't know how to tell you this but it wasn't Steam VR that made VR gaming possible - it was Oculus Rift. The Oculus Rift was the first widely known Virtual Reality HMD that became available for consumer purchase in 2016..
The same Oculus developed Quest 2 (my own Quest 2 had the Oculus branding on it still when I bought it).
Look, I get it. People want the update on Steam. I want the update on Steam too. But wanting and actually getting are two different things. After looking into it on the devs Twitter page, I came to the conclusion that Steam won't be getting the update, so I had to bite the bullet and buy the game for a 2nd time on the Meta Store ( although I did get it on sale).
"Creed: Rise To Glory - Championship Edition is out now on the Meta Quest platform and PSVR 2. The original version is also on PC VR. When asked about a potential Championship Edition or Sweet Science update on Steam, Survios told UploadVR, "there are no plans to release for the Steam edition."
This article, originally published on November 6, 2023 was updated on November 7, 2023 to include the response from Survios.

At a minimum they need to make the game launchable without using any 3rd party apps.
I wrote a lengthy refund request, was never able to launch it, only 2min shown played time. I just bought it in December bust wasn't able to play it until a few days ago.. Steam request denied.
So now Im left with a game I cant launch from the steam app and no planned support...
Doesn't steam require developers to be accountable to being able to launch of their own software?
"An updated version titled Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition was released on April 4, 2023 for all platforms(even PSVR2)."
LOL 🤣
