magnum opus help please

So I'm actually almost at the end of the game, chap 19, but I decided to go back and try to get 100 percent on some earlier chapters. Chap 9, I have read three different online cheats on how to get the magnum opus, but I Can Not Get It! I've walked as far left, behind, in front of the bookcase in the room indicated, and I don't see the 'a' indicator that someone had screenshot, I don't see any indication at all for a secret portal..very frustrating because it seems like the screenshot is from a console and not pc. How do i get the magnum?

yep that was the first one i checked, still can't get it. I have NO indication whatsoever no matter where i stand and i've tried Every spot by the bookcase, behind and in front. is it a pc and console thing? I don't have an 'a' indicator on my pc game.

"A" must be a button which showing up when you are playing with gamepad.
Try pressing the interaction button there. I can't remember which one is it (maybe "F" ?), but I got there myself back when I was playing it.
Just as guide says - go there, use attack to break "barricades" first, then go further and try to find exact place where to use the interaction button. This worked for me.

i got it on PC and found that I couldn't move to the right spot by clicking, I had to use the WASD keys to move far enough right and look for the ENTER sign to show up to tell me where the teleporter was.

that's something I haven't tried yet, will do thanks. I am playing thru again on higher level, hope to find it second time around!

This is so GD frustrating that it's souring me on the whole game. I can't access Copernica's best weapon or 100% chapter 9 because of this broken secret teleporter. I've spent way too much time trying to use mouse and then keyboard, taking the advice above, and still have not managed to activate this teleporter despite it being somewhere in a very small area and knowing the location it is supposed to be from the IGN walkthrough and watching youtube videos. I guess there's no prospect of them fixing this bug years later, but they really should.

I couldn't see any prompt using my mouse and keyboard. I tried this for a very long time. Finally I plugged in a PS4 controller and moved around back there and found it pretty quickly. Hope this helps others having issues.
