Cheat engine upgrade menu

First of all, i know this is my fault, cheating is bad, yada yada yada.

I got my first level up and saw perks, so i cheated my points to buy all upgrades from the start. However, on the second level up i have 3 upgrade points and can't do anything, but can't progress either. Anyone have any ways of getting ahead of this? I have tried quitting and re-opening but that just put me back on the mission i just finished (knocking sounds inside the spitfire engine)

Sounds like you upgraded with your cheat to fast for the game to work with.

What were you expecting the game to do when you reach a point where you were supposed to upgrade when you already had the upgrades? I'm guessing the game needed you to upgrade to trigger an action to progress but since you can't upgrade, it can't progress.

I guess you could try restarting, without the cheat.

I was afraid of this. I noticed it the first time i gave myself points i thought i could just give myself a larger number and the game would toss the rest. i guess i just forgot to think long term. I'll look a bit more in terms of solutions

Broken game due to cheating -> delete the save and start over again.
