Usually you shouldn't have to do anything to get your controller working. Xbox 360, XB1 should work out of the box.
If you have issues with PS4 controller, try to set it up in Steam Big Picture mode.

Alternative solution is to use InputMapper in exclusive mode.

How to reset control bindings
1. Press windows key and type regedit then press enter.
2. Remove the control bindings keys in \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Let it roll AB\The Snowboard Game

* if you character is constantly doing nose or tail presses there is a controller issue.

Hey guys! I been playing the game since its released & i use a ps4 controller. Everything was working fantastic until now. When i play, im only able to use the joysticks to move & i cant use any of my trigger buttons to work or config the triggers. Also restarted PC & tried to reset keys & still nothing. Basically, everything was working great the past year & now im not able to do butters or jumps! Please help & thank you for your time!

Hmm. Did you happen to connect another controller? Also there's an option in game where you can turn on keyboard controls. Can you check that it is unchecked?
The steam remapping worked for me for a long time too, not sure what happened, but I switched to input mapper.

Always used a ps4 controller to play & never a problem, now i can only use triggers(L1-L2-R1-R2) to jump/butters while playing. I am only able to turn/carve. Every tried to config or uninstall & reinstall game; the same problem occurs. I was always to play this game nonstop & now I cant do no jumps or rails! :(

Kept using the regedit to solve issue as well & no solution! I seriously love this game & I cannot wait for futher updates for all maps/clothes/etc! I just need help with this bug! I really appreciate for your time & help!

Have had the same issue for a few days now... all of a sudden, haven't changed the controller and jumping just stopped working

Tried resetting through regedit, tried inputmapper, tried all sorts of combinations this past few days and nothing works, its just the right trigger not working for me, catching air with enough speed allows for grabs but can't really hit anything now that I had found how to download the internal beta and the improvements look awesome!

Big fan of the game btw, love what you've achieved in this game! Hope I don't need to switch the controller to fix it, it works properly in emulators and other games.

Got somewhat same problem (xbox360). Right trigger doesnt work until I turn the controller off and back on again while the game is running.

it got the same problem with my ps4 controller. I can only carve but nothing else. cant jump. when i put the cable back on during the game the character starts doing butters. the controler works fine on skater xl. i also tried a second controller but same issue. i just brought the game but im not able to play it -.- pls help me... dunno what to do

Hey!
You need to get input mapper working correctly in exclusive mode. Otherwise it can't connect properly. For me that involved finding the usb device ID and doing some registry hacks, not sure if this is required, but it could be a conflict with steam or something else. If you can't start it in exclusive mode you get error messages.

For xbox 1 with usb controller I heard that somone just used the startup screen and bound JumpAxis to the right trigger which worked for him.

I don't know what could be causing it but I'm trying to find a solution.

Game works fine on normal mode (no beta versions selected)? Or is it always broken? I guess I got off easy. Resetting xbox360 -conroller when the game is on, does the trick for me. Game on; meaning that the wasted "Liquid" is just charging down the hill and i turn off the controller, then back on again and trigger works. Funny that it doesnt effect anything else. If that doesnt help you, then we got totally different situation. PS. for me the same pug appears 100% of the time when i start playing, no matter if basic or beta. (there are 2 beta modes, as far as i can understand, both exclusive I guess). You would remember if you had installed any. Better yet it reads on the game-list after the original name, if thats the case.

InputMapper is only needed if you have a PS4 controller, so for Liquidsands it's a different situation.

And you enable exclusive mode for input mapper in options. There are tutorials for it, if it doesn't work out of the box. If exclusive mode doesn't work, you'll get error messages.

I solved the issue using inputmapper in exclusive mode as you said, worked for me doing that and cofiguring the input commands in the start menu even though wasn't an easy task as the list of inputs is quite long (haven't managed to set the menu commands for the controller). Seems to me like the issue could be Steam's, not the game's.

Psyched to see the improvements in the internal beta, finally being able to hit all those new features in the improved parks :) Keep up the good work! And congrats again on the game, I much rather this with stylish and realistic tricks than impossibly soaring the skies down the whole frickin' mountain as I've seen people playing on "Steep".

Shouldn't have to configure the input commands, but great if that worked! that list is long! :) I may change the whole input in the future so you can set it all up in game.

i have the exact same problem as _//_\\_. Suddenly my jump button RT stopped working. I have a xbox 360 wire controller, worked all good until some days back. I have tried everything now and i cant get it to work.
