Can't progress in story with save from Demo

I played through the demo and I bought the full game. The promise was made that one could continue the save game from the demo and I can load those saves fine. But there is no way to progress in the story.
I suppose there should be a new chapter available when talking to the dimension guide, but the only available dimension is Blood Parch.
Am I missing something or is this yet another issue?

For me there is no boss on map 5. Red Magnus is now part of my crew and a Fury Fatalist is now standing where he was on map 5. I still redid that map and still can't progress further.

I'm stuck in the same place as Janus. Which is really rubbing salt in the wound since I lost all my hours and hours of beta save data. Re-doing the first chapter feels pretty lame. Why offer a demo that doesn't progress after release.

Thanks for reporting this. We'll look into this issue. If possible, can you provide us with your save data? This can be accessed by doing the following:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. In the address bar type: %AppData%\Nippon Ichi Software, Inc\Disgaea 5 Complete\NUMBER (NUMBER being a random number)
3. Your save data should be located in this folder.

Also, any other information about how much of the game you completed until this point would be helpful as well!

I played through the first episode of the story. The mission where Red Magnus joins was the last one. I did not accept any of the DLC special content as I did not want to break the early game.

Did you also follow the way to unlock the next map? You have to talk to all np's in your base zone. one gives you the teleport stuff for the next place.... Just checking in case as some forget stuff..... even the simple things...

I'm reading the dialogues, I'm just not talking to all the NPCs in my Nether hub. That prinny seemed super unimportant to me.
