Intro movie keeps hitching
Description of Issue: Intro movie (and then again during initial gameplay) keeps hitching - plays fine for a second, then pauses (audio and video) for a second, repeat ad infinitum. (I assume this occurs for every movie?)

And it takes a while for the game to register input (7 seconds?), when I'm trying to skip the movie.

I'm able to play the movie perfectly fine with VLC from the Data/Movie directory.

Might be related to the report here, but I only have one GPU:

Thanks for reporting this! We'll look into this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks!

I had an issue with the video as well. But somewhat different.

To me it looked like as if every second frame would be out of sync and an older frame would be used instead. Faster scenes looked as if you had double vision and static one slooked normal.

it really feels like its played in a seperate program, like it tabs to a defferent fullscreen application, like a video player perhaps. and its showing the common video error that the player cant load the file fast enough. its trying to play it that even if it hitches the video and audio will not stop in order to wait for the data, aka being frame locked. and instead keeps playing even if the data is not loaded. its verry common when playing files in higher quality then the pc or the player can handle. like 4k uncompressed at 60 fps. causing things like what the image is showing or more commonly making static parts of the image freeze or become gray, as no data was able to fill it.

best fix whould be to load the whole thing to the ram rather then reading directly from the disk, its only 123 mb big mp4 file.

the problem definitly is not our pc, as a seperete video player like windows player or vlc can run it perfectly at the same time.

Hey everyone, we've uploaded a preview build to help alleviate this issue.

Thanks NISA Sahil, I tested the preview build, but the movie is now just a black screen (but the audio no longer hitches, so that's better). The mouse cursor works/is visible during that time (if relevant).

If the opening video is still not playing, you may want to try reinstalling the game. Please let us know if this helps or not.
