New cycle before ending

Hi, so I haven't played for more than a year due to work and other games that caught my interest. I want to get back on it (I was at chapter 12) and replay the story, is it possible to restart the game with my current characters and items ? I couldn't find anything on how to start a new cycle / new game+, is it possible ? I don't really want to start a new game, but I don't remember much about the story ^^'

The only way I'm aware of to start over and keep everything is to finish the game first, then you can start over without losing anything other than story progress.

I mean you can go watch all of the skits and stuff at the memories guy, if it's the story you're interested in.

After clearing the game, you can talk to the time-travel pirate NPC to start a new game+. There isn't much incentive to do it unless you want to fill the data shop with the skits (one skit in particular involves Killia alone, which means you need to change the controlled unit to get it) and bad endings you missed, or want to experience the story again.

Otherwise, maybe watch a walkthrough on YouTube?
